Update from CCC

  Charbonneau Residents,

We have been seeing increased crime in Charbonneau over the last week. This includes garage break-ins and car thefts. The staff has been working with Wilsonville police and First Response on increased patrols. If you see any suspicious activity or have a break-in let the office know; every tip can help.  Please read this important message from Rob Wurpes, Wilsonville Chief of Police:

Regarding crime in Charbonneau and the subsequent petty theft, now does not seem to be the time to eliminate supporting in home alarm systems. Having had a previous attempted break-in I’m worried.

      Thanks for your comment.
Please note that the Board is NOT suggesting to get rid of Alarm Systems. We are only proposing to change the way Alarm Monitoring is paid. At this point only a minority of homeowners use the Wilsonville Lock & Security alarm monitoring.
Over the years, the technology has changed, homes have been remodeled and other systems installed by individual homeowners. Now we have ~80 users (out of 228 homes) with the Wilsonville Lock & Security alarm monitoring. This includes both intrusion and fire/smoke. Many homeowner now have systems thru their smart phones and others have no system at all.
