Please note that the Red Course is closing to walkers, Tuesday, March 1st

Please note the following message from CCC:

“On behalf of our residents, the Charbonneau Country Club wishes to thank the Charbonneau Golf Club for allowing walkers on the cart paths on the Red Course during the winter. Having an additional safe place to walk has been appreciated and well used.

Starting March 1, golfers will be playing the Red course in addition to the other two courses. This means more maintenance equipment as well will be on the Red course and cart paths. Thus walking on all the courses and cart paths is discontinued on March 1.”

Please email or call Randy Hitz with any questions.

Have enjoyed access to walking the red course and seeing the many walkers, but looking forward to seeing the golfers back on the course. Thank you for sharing the course during the winter months.

Thanks for having the red course open this winter. We have enjoyed using the course for walking and seeing the many other walkers. Looking forward to seeing the golfers back out enjoying the course.

F.Y.I. Bicycles are also not allowed on the cart paths. However we have one resident who does not follow the rules. He rides on the cart paths almost every day. I have heard that, if we do not stop this riding, the golf course may not allow anyone to even walk on the paths in the future.

      Thanks for the comment.

Yes- when the Red course is closed to golfers, it is open for walkers/runners only. No vehicles are allowed (other than golf carts).

I will send a reminder in the Fall when it closes to golfers.
